27 Aug San Diego Daycation with ResortPass

ResortPass X AquavieFitness + Wellness Club

I got to check out the newly-renovated AquaVie Fitness + Wellness Club at the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego through ResortPass and it was the ultimate Saturday daycation.

How ResortPass works

ResortPass lets you experience hotel resorts and spas without having to actually stay there. Instead, you buy a day pass where you can access everything for a much lower fee. Pricing with ResortPass ranges from $25 for a day pass to cabana rentals at $200, depending on location and amenities. You can check it out for yourself in San Diego, LA, Orange County, Palm Desert, Santa Barbara and Napa. Seriously such a great deal for a a little weekend getaway.

I chose the AquaVie Fitness + Wellness Club because it was recently remodeled and only a 15-minute ride away from my apartment, making it the perfect Saturday “treat yo’self” getaway.

The space

The check-in and entry-way is modern, clean, and looks like you’re stepping into a luxurious spa. After exploring the huge gym and spa area, we knew exactly what we wanted to do all day: lounge at the Junior Olympic-size swimming pool, which was heated to perfection. Since this space is new, it was pretty mellow and there weren’t many people lounging. The less people the better when having a relaxing day, in my opinion. The pool is located on the rooftop with views of downtown San Diego.

Not a cloud in the sky 🙂

This space also has a wrap-around track on the roof-top with full city views of downtown San Diego and an area where you can exercise on the rooftop.

There were comfy lounge chairs and couches throughout the rooftop deck.

For lunch we got tasty cobb salads (one of my favorites) with drinks that were brought up to us and served on a rolling cart. Seriously livin’ the dream.

Top it all off with a succulent wall and I’m in heaven.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with your girlfriends or an amazing date idea, THIS IS IT! Whether you want to relax at a pool all day, or check out a spa and get in a workout at a sleek gym, I highly recommend this spot in San Diego. For those of you not in San Diego, you can check out all their locations and hotel partnerships on the ResortPass website.
