13 Mar Organic Berry Protein Smoothie
I’ve been a smoothie fiend since I was little, but now I try to make sure my smoothies are packed with healthy ingredients and contain more than just fruit. Protein is the key to staying full and building muscle, so I use a dark chocolate, organic, grass fed whey protein by teras. I’m a big chocolate lover, plus it tastes great with banana and berries.
This organic berry protein smoothie is nutritious, delicious and filling 🙂 Perfect for a breakfast replacement or post-workout.
1/2 cup frozen, mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
1 handful of spinach
1 tablespoon organic whey protein
1 cup organic almond milk
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
Blend berries, banana, spinach, protein and almond milk in blender
Top with fresh blueberries & sprinkle with chia seeds
