11 Mar Exploring the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon
The Pacific Northwest holds a very special place in my heart. My parents moved up to the Portland area a few years ago, which gives me an excuse to visit and explore. My favorite view of all time up there is the Columbia River Gorge… behold its [GORGE]ousness:
I come to this same spot every time I go on a hike in the gorge, it’s a little tradition my family has. If you’re on your way to Multnomah Falls stop by this vista point, it’s a must see. As much as I love a good SD sunset, a mountain view in PNW is really giving us a run for our money. It’s nice to get out of the dehydrated, polluted Southern California area and back in the trees.
You can get another killer view at the Vista House at Crown Point.
The water bottles are by Swell – keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for over 12 hours say whaaa. I’ve been converting my friends, co-workers and fellow ClassPass users to invest in one of these beauts. I always use re-usable water bottles and I’m a recycling freak, so this non-toxic stainless steal bottle is my go-to. They’re perfect for working out, stay cold on a hot beach day, and look great. This thing is uh-mazing, I want every color, and believe me they have about 100 options to choose from.
The Pacific Northwest is so lusciously green, the air has a crisp zing to it, and the hikes are breathtaking. I think this area should be on everyone’s bucket list.
